  • Payment information: Credit/debit card details and billing information processed through our third-party payment provider (Clover). GLG does not directly store your full payment card numbers.

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and click patterns.
  • Location data: General geographic location based on IP address.

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data:

Clover (Payment Processing)

We use Clover by Fiserv to process payments securely. When you make a payment, your card information is transmitted directly to Clover's secure servers. GLG does not store your full credit card numbers. Clover's privacy policy can be found at clover.com/privacy-policy.

Google Maps

Our website embeds Google Maps to display our location. Google may collect information about your use of the map widget in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts to display typefaces on our website. Google may collect limited data (such as your IP address) when fonts are loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website may use the following technologies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic website functionality (e.g., navigation, form submission).
  • Third-party cookies: Google Maps and Google Fonts may set their own cookies. These are governed by Google's cookie policies.

  • Washington State DOL: We are required to report student enrollment and completion records to the Department of Licensing as part of our licensing obligations.
  • Payment processors: Payment information is shared with Clover to process transactions.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government regulation.
  • Safety: We may share information when necessary to protect the safety of our students, staff, or the public.

6. Data Retention

  • Student records: Enrollment and completion records are retained for a minimum of 6 years as required by Washington State regulations for driver training schools.
  • Contact form submissions: Inquiries are retained for up to 2 years to support follow-up communication.
  • Payment records: Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Website data: Automatically collected website usage data is retained for up to 12 months.

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Considerations)

Green Light Go provides services to teen students as young as 15 years old. We take the privacy of minors seriously:

  • We collect only the personal information necessary to provide driver education services to teen students.
  • For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must authorize enrollment and consent to the collection of the student's personal information.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our services are designed for individuals aged 15 and older.
  • Parents and guardians may review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their child's personal information by contacting us at the information provided below.
  • We do not condition a teen's participation in our programs on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including:

  • Secure payment processing through PCI-compliant Clover systems.
  • Limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.
  • Secure storage of physical student records.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.
